@deelee74

one of my favorite shows ever! deelee74, i was in SS Bountyhunter and Clay!

Mike Knott was definitely an artist who pushed the edge in CCM. Made a lot of people uncomfortable. Some say he's a genius. I do.

his scream at 3:20....... insane!!!!!!!!!!!!

nope sorry. just looked at your page though and I love waiting for guffman. dont bother looking at mine I have nothing lol

Did you ever happen to see Clay or SS BountyHunter at Cornerstone?

I agree... LSU, Adam Again, The Choir, Daniel Amos, the Crucified and scaterd-few were awesome. 99% of the rest is pretty bad. I was at this show too... loved when he smeared pork and beans all over himself while doing Do it clean by Echo and the Bunnymen

Wally Shaw on piano.I was at this show myself. It's nice to see it again, but to me it's also depressing. Not because the song is sad, but because after Cornerstone '92, great Christian music really started to die. There was such a great run from about 1990-1993 where Christian music was some of the most creative music out there. It was actually better than a lot of mainstream stuff. After 93, that stopped being true. Now you can spot Christian music before you even hear the words. It's lame

Holy crow... I was at this show, jammed up against the stage to the right.

Hey, Guys, I remember seeing Mike Knott in the 1993 at cornerstone. I realy believe this man is spitual. He wasn't afraid to sing about things. This song is about a male prostitute that he knew that disappeared. There was a time Mike would play his guitar in the park down in Hollywood and this young man would stop and talk to him. This young guy did business with the rich men in the hills who would dress him up like a clown.

go2 my profile and msg my msn name if u want to talk 2

J. White here: I remember seeing the Life Savers at Hope Chapel, Hermosa Beach in 82 before going into the army. What is "Christian" anyway. Only Christ knows Mike's heart, your heart, my heart. The lyrics to this song give me chills and has now made me cry. Yes, ex-surfer, "Christian", evangelical: now, just a follower of Christ, struggling to make it, struggling to just stay remain. To Mr. Vorndran, to Elaine, to Sheri, you are the real one's. The lyrics are so true, aren't they?

A true artist who happens to be a Christian or a true Christian who happens to be an artist? He's never been accepted by mainstream "Christian" music, same as 77's, it's why christian radio is lame.....

classic album! saw them at some church in Long Beach, late 80s I think. he's a good man.

Second only to the 1994 Adam Again gig in C-Stone bests...

This is totally magical!

Totally!

Geeeez. Fourteen years. Lifetimes ago. I was about fifteen feet away, working at this show. I remember very well the chills this performance gave me. One of the best Cornerstone has ever seen.

It definitely shows the theatric side of Michael Knott.

SWEET! Extremely rare and totally classic...funny and sad too.

Awesome - Mike Knott singing a classic in a clown outfit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
