Who cares what colour the people are who have written/performed the song, Yes, there would be no Elvis etc, without black soul/blues artists, there would also be no black American soul/blues artists without influence from Europeans. It all goes around, Rock has many influences. There would also be a lot less 'Motown" without legendary white song writers and musicians, and there are just as many black artist who have written their own legendary songs and music, musical talent every race shares

@shoa31 i dunno. i mean i agree he was great and unbelievably talented. but i think this guy called Gandhi brought some power to people. Maybe a few others throughout history too... but i agree, unfortunately there aren't too many who have not been killed, and are alive today :(
